Now this case has been around for as long as the defender case, but Otterbox actually remade it. This is in my top three silicone cases for the iphone 3g/3gs. The design is different than any other case and the fit is outstanding.

WOW! is all i have to say about Otterbox’s new cases for the iphone 3g/3gs. The TL comes in several colors while the commuter comes in black with different colored spines. These are very nice alternatives to the Otterbox defender.
